Wireless Packet Data has been around for a long time. Based on a radio network that carries X.25 Packet Data
between terminals and their hosts it has ben performing many routine tasks for us since the early 90's.
A long time before
credit/debit card on-line payments were common this technology was already working for forward thinking UK Banks taking their EFTPoS
transactions through those PDQ (pretty damn quick) machines. These days the technology is used across the UK as well as in Russia,
Ukraine, South Africa, Bermuda, Malaysia and many more countries world-wide. It supports not only PoS but also ATM Cash machines,
Electricity and Water monitoring, Intruder Alarms, Mobile Applications and much more.
